Psychosocial Support Program

These are portraits shot during my assignment at Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement. They are stories of recovery and resilience courageously told by survivors of the South Sudan Civil war; stories of how a group of refugees have taken up the initiative to be trained on and offer psychosocial support services to their struggling fellow citizens in the settlement transcending hate and division brought about by tribalism. The assignment was to interview and take portraits of both the beneficiaries and counselors of the Psychosocial Support Program ran by Y Global- Uganda, supported by KFUK-KFUM Global, Norway.
